Timothy Cortez - A message to myself.
You have taken care of your business and family but have neglected yourself.
You have let your momentum slowly plumet and need to get back on track.
Less distractions, more satisfaction from a job well done.
Here is what I want to share of my personal routine and improve on it.
I use to be on a tight routine that helped me focus on dropping 70 lbs.
I have slowly neglected my weight and even gained some back.
No excuses on my end, its simple conscious and intentional choices.
Write down my routine and stick to that routine.
But that was not my only mistake I made.
I took up smoking again for a moment, a bad habit I want to drop.
Now I am letting it all go and replacing it with physical pleasures.
My lady, blessing to my life, suggest a walk recently and I loved it.
Walking has been time for reflection, while considering global affairs.
But it does not matter what you say about global affairs, just yourself.
Fix my routine, become a better person, improve life for those around me.
That is the only thing we can do in this life, here is what I am trying to do.
Career Opportunity.
I start the morning with 2 waters and hop into work.
I am increasing my score with the practice test to 80%.
The needed grade to pass readiness test for my license.
I have a passing score for the real test but want to be sure.
This is to qualify for broker’s license, a career I’m excited for.
Family routine.
I try to help out with maintenance of the house in free moments.
That test can take up to 2 hours and I need movement.
If I get off early enough, I do the quietest chores in the house.
Family is usually up at 7 AM and we jump into our daily routine.
When everyone is home late afternoon we have family time.
But family time is simply just coexisting in the house while following the house rules.
We focus on more physical and creative activities. House rules create a supportive empowering environment.
Health routine.
Start the day with 2 waters as you dive into work.
Do not eat from 8PM till 12PM next day.
I have taken up fasting again skipping meals.
The meals I do eat are more veggie/protein based.
I strength train and walk every other day when possible.
Life mission.
I run a website dedicated to empowering families and organizations to meet their financial goals.
I show my process of personal transformation as I seek to become a positive influence for family.
Legacy and purpose are tied to our history, I look at the big picture and know what I want to be.
I have developed myself over time and help people through coaching, strategizing, and advising.
My latest project is a mindset course that will wrap up my high-ticket offer, soon to be announced.
Summarize it to myself, what am I doing?
Staying disciplined to your body and health.
Improving your score to unlock broker’s license.
Lead by example with gratitude and family attitude.
Remember your life mission you are building as you go.
You are:
Big picture thinker
Problem solver
Pattern seeker
Family man
Recognize the good patterns and bad patterns of your life.
